CASA Volunteer Training (April 2024)

Class information:

• 3-6pm
• Once a week for 5 weeks
• The first meeting is in person and the following meetings are virtual

Do you have experience in law or social work? Contact us about accelerated training for independent studies. 

What does a CASA volunteer do?

• Advocate for the child
• Gather information about the case
• Recommend services for the child
• Appear in court
• Keep the court informed about what is
• best for the child in need

Volunteer Criteria:

• 21 years or older
• Background check and fingerprinting
• No court affiliation
• 30 hours of training
• 12 hours of continued training a year
