Tasha and her four kids were homeless. Again. This time, they stayed with a friend who made a makeshift bedroom in his kitchen where they could sleep. That is when Tasha enrolled in the CAPS Parent Aide program. Her CAPS Parent Aide home visitor was concerned that Tasha did not seem to know what impact homelessness has had on her children. After talking to her and presenting some information and resources about the effects of homelessness on kids, Tasha began to understand. She decided to set a goal of finding a permanent residence for her family. As of today, they are proud to have their own place to call home.
