Adults, kids and canine took their mark on Saturday, April 28, for the CAPS – Child And Parents Services’ annual Superhero 5K. This year, however, 7-year-old Landon Babcock had to choose between participating in the 5K and his dream of hosting a lemonade stand during his neighborhood’s garage sale.
So, he chose both.
Despite the cold, Landon managed to excel in his lemonade stand sales. He presented CAPS with $2,400 from his one-day entrepreneurial adventure where he sold lemonade, hot cocoa, popcorn and stuffed animals. Read more about the heart of this amazing superhero.
