In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, CAPS has collected a variety of community and web resources for families and children in Elkhart County. This guide is not intended to be exhaustive; more resources will be added to the guide once they become available.

A complete list of restaurants in Elkhart and the services they’re offering can be found here. 

  • Church Community Services 
  • Food pantry runs Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 11-3 p.m., and again on Thursday   4-7 p.m.
  • Guidance Ministries:
  • The food pantry will continue to operate from 12:00 to 12:30 on Tuesday with prepackaged boxes being provided out of the side door
  • God’s kitchen will continue to serve meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 PM with take-home meals
  • Hours and services to the homeless will not be interrupted
  • Faith Mission:
  • Community lunch (12:30-1:00 PM) and dinner (5:00-5:30 PM) will be served in a to-go fashion
  • Saving Grace:
  • Wednesday night meals will be served at 5:30 p.m. pick up only
  • Food boxes are available for delivery or pick up
  • Beacon Hill Kitchen and Pub:
  • Free hot lunches for children up to 12th grade
  • Available Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Can pick up inside or call 574-264-2337 for delivery
  • High schoolers must have a school ID to get food
  • Menus are posted each morning on Facebook
