CAPS – Child And Parent Services staff filled a table at Junior Achievement of Elkhart County’s Annual Appreciation Breakfast. Keynote speaker Mitchell Kokko from the Idea Center of Notre Dame shared the importance of supporting and mentoring kids. He also encouraged the audience to celebrate failures and treat them as teaching moments.
Junior Achievement (JA) hosts an annual Lemonade Day designed to educate kids and teach them how to launch and operate their own business. Awards were given to kids who stood out as leaders in this event, as well to volunteers and business supporters. According to JA, over 7,000 students were impacted by this program.
